B.A
A student taking up General course for the B.A Degree shall study (a) English and Modern Indian Language in the language Group of 100 marks (English 50 and modern Indian Language 50) (b) Environmental Studies and (c) any three elective subject of the Humanities Division. Each elective subject with shall have four papers of 100 marks each, out of which three elective subjects with one paper of 100 marks each (3*100=300)shall be taught and examined in part-I Examination along with language Group of 100 marks and Environmental studies of 50 marks.In B.A Part-II Examination,three elective subjects with two papers of 100 marks each (3*2*100=600) and in B.A Part-III Examination three elective subjects with one paper of 100 marks each(3*100=300)shall be taught and examined.
Acandidate taking up Honours Course for the B.A Degree shall study (a)English and Modern Indian language in the Language in the Group (b) Environmental Studies (c)Honours in any one subject of the Humanities and (d) any other two elective subjects consisting shall have eight papers of 100 marks each.

A candidate taking up General Course for the B.Sc
Degree shall study (a) English and Modern Indian Language in the Language Group

A candidate taking up General Course for the B.Com
Degree shall study (a) English and Modern Indian Language in the Language Group
